Restoration Project in the Historic Albuquerque Country Club Neighborhood
These are some photos of a resent restoration project we performed in the historic Albuquerque Country Club Neighborhood. The home required drywall repair and painting of the walls, ceilings, and trim work in the formal living room and formal dining room due to a major plumbing leak from an upstairs bathroom. The drywall was removed to allow for the proper installation of drywall in the areas of damage. Insulation was replaced as needed. A total of 15 sheets of 5/8” drywall were installed. All repairs were taped, floated to a feather edge, sanded, and textured to match.
All repairs were primed. The finish paint was premium quality Benjamin Moore Regal Select for the walls and ceilings. The trim work was finished with Sherwin Williams Pro Classic Satin Finish oil based enamel. The dining room walls were finished with a trowel finished pearl.
