Commercial Exterior Painting of the Brookdale Valencia Senior Housing Facility in Albuquerque, NM
Here are a few photos of a recent exterior painting project performed at the Brookdale Valencia Senior Housing Facility. The scope of work was a full exterior repaint of the stucco, doors, trim work, and steel railings. As with all of our exterior projects, we started with a power wash to give us a clean surface ready for paint. We addressed any damage to the stucco finish. Any of the areas of failing paint were scraped to a sound surface and primed with XIM Peel Bond Primer. Any gaps and cracks were filled. The trim and door paint was a top quality 100% acrylic. The stucco was coated with a high build elastomeric masonry coating by the spray and back roll method. It offers the best waterproofing and flexibility for stucco. All of the steel was painted with a high performance urethane alkyd enamel. The finished project looked great!
While we are always focused on the look of the finished project, the customer service is equally important. The other ever-present consideration is the safety of our staff, the customer, and anyone else that may be on the jobsite. Assisted living facilities and medical facilities add to this with the potential for inconveniencing, or even endangering someone with mobility issues. While housekeeping is always a first priority with all projects, in public buildings we have taken extra steps in training our team members to keep walkways clear at all times, to clearly mark out areas of wet paint, to properly store equipment and materials when not attended, and to work closely with our customers to make sure that everything is done in the safest way possible. It's all part of our commitment to improving customer experience.
